Shannonside Basketball was formed in 2002 and is the "umbrella "organisation for underage basketball in the North Roscommon/South Leitrim/Sligo and West Cavan areas. Its aims are to organise, develop and promote the game particularly among children and young adults. The strength of the organisation lies in the many clubs who participate in the tournaments. Shannonside Basketball organises tournaments for boys and girls at U-12, U-14, U-16 and U-18 age groups. The season runs from September to March and the schedule plans to have two tournaments for each age group during the season. For more information access - www.rosactive.org |
